Tottenham Hotspur will look to build on last weekends win over Crystal Palace when they welcome Liverpool to White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon. Here is the side we think Mauricio Pochettino will select for the game:

Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris has once again been ruled out of the game with a hamstring injury that he suffered on the opening weekend against Everton so Michel Vorm will continue to deputise between the sticks.

Defence: Pochettino has reported no fresh injury worries so I expect to see a familiar back four on show this weekend. Jan Vertonghen has fully recovering from an ankle injury that he suffered during the Euro’s so he should continue alongside Belgian team mate Toby Alderweireld in the middle of defence.

England international’s Danny Rose and Kyle Walker are the established full-backs so they are likely to once again keep out Ben Davies and Kieran Trippier.

Midfield: Mousa Dembele serves the fifth of his six-game suspension which was carried over from last season so Victor Wanyama is expected to keep his place alongside Eric Dier in midfield and he’ll be looking to continue his fine early form at Spurs having scored the winner last time out.

Attack: The one change I think we will see from Pochettino is to recall Dele Alli to the starting eleven after the youngster was dropped to the bench against Palace last weekend.

Vincent Janssen is the man most likely to make way with Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela continuing to support Harry Kane in attack.

Here is how I think we’ll see Spurs line-up:

Tottenham are the slight 27/20 favourites for the game but if you want better odds, then my recommended bet would be Spurs to win 2-1 at odds of 33/4. 138.com are offering a 100% free bet up to £25 so if you took full advantage of that offer, then you would stand to win £231.25 if Tottenham beat Liverpool 2-1 on Saturday!
