Liverpool will look to book their place in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup when they take on Leicester City at the King Power Stadium this evening.

Jurgen Klopp has made eight changes from the side that drew 1-1 with Burnley at the weekend as Danny Ward comes in to make his first appearance of the season.

Jon Flanagan also makes his return to the side as he joins Joe Gomez, Ragnar Klavan and Andrew Robertson in defence. Dejan Lovren isn’t involved as he continues to recover from a knock.

Jordan Henderson gets a recall in midfield with youngster Marko Grujic given the chance to impress alongside the recalled Gini Wijnaldum.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain makes his full debut in attack along with Dominic Solanke while Philippe Coutinho also starts as he looks to improve on his match fitness.
