Liverpool will be looking to register their first win of the Champions League group stages when they take on Maribor in Slovenia tomorrow night.

Here is the side I think Jurgen Klopp will select for the game:

Goalkeeper: Klopp has already confirmed he’ll continue to play number two goalkeeper Loris Karius in Europe with Simon Mignolet dropping to the bench.

Defence: Joe Gomez has been in favour at right-back in recent weeks but I think we’ll see Trent Alexander-Arnold come in tomorrow night with Nathaniel Clyne still sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip should maintain their partnership in the middle of the back four while Alberto Moreno should start ahead of Andrew Robertson at left-back as he appears to have played his way back in to Klopp’s first team plans.

Midfield: Jordan Henderson is expected to once again lead the side out while Emre Can could get the nod ahead of Gini Wijnaldum in midfield against the Slovenia champions.

Adam Lallana has stepped up his recovery from a thigh injury but this game comes too soon for the England international so he remains unavailable for selection.

Klopp insists he’ll resist the temptation to field a weakened side as this is a must-win game so I expect Philippe Coutinho to keep his place in the starting eleven.

Attack: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be given a chance to impress meaning he may start on the left side of attack – although Klopp has the option to play The Ox centrally with Coutinho on the wing.

Sadio Mane is still nursing a hamstring injury so Mohamed Salah will continue in attack while Roberto Firmino should once again lead the line up front with Daniel Sturridge having to make-do with a place on the bench.

Here is how we think Liverpool will line up:
