[PHOTO] Sickening Image Of Nani Injury After Disgusting Carragher Tackle

By on March 6, 2011

The above image has not been ‘photoshopped’ as some have been suggesting. It was taken on a camera phone while the picture was paused on TV. As you can see from the second image below, the wound is in exactly the same place:

Not for the faint hearted. This is what had Luis Nani in tears and stretchered off during the Liverpool game. Jamie Carragher recieved a yellow card for this.

Everyone is making a big deal of carras tackle, but wait, you all say he should have had a red, yes he was over the top but he did not go 2 footed studs up, rafael did on lucas and lucas just bounced back up, did noone else see that???? Rafael’s challenge had more potential to do greater damage than carras, yet not one person is commenting on that!!!

posh scouse, how can you try to apologize Carragher’s action?, yes there were other hard challenges but none of them caused the injuries that his caused. And not only was it a disgusting foul, after kicking him he was telling him to stop complaining and play.
If you have ever played soccer (which I doubt) based on your comments. You should never justify an action like that one.

i wasn’t trying to apologise u idiot read the comment i agreed the challenge was high but no one else seemed to mention rafaels challenge, and for your info i played to quite a high standard all be it not proffessional, but who knows what would have happened if i didn’t rupture my anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments after quite a nasty tackle

first of all, his challenge was not half as bad as was Carragher’s. also if you look at the whole play u can see that maxi made a foul on rafael before he fouled the opponent and the ref said nothin to maxi.

The was both bad, one doesn’t have to connect to make it worse than the other. Carraghers was to reckless and clumsy. Red card. Rafeals was too naive and stupid, red card move on. Maxi and Rafeal both had their foot up, but Rafeal got there 1st. It wasn’t that bad.

    To Man U 19
ITS FOOTBALL not SOCCER and I have broken a players ankle before it wasn’t intentional and the player was a mate, and he tried to stand up afterwards to role about rying like a baby.

Errr so where was his shin guard? I guess he must have pulled that out and thrown it into the crowd on his way across to shout abuse at the referee and before the delayed effect of the injury forced him to thrw himsleft to the ground an eon after the event.
A bad tackle undoubtedly, however Nani has only himself to blame for (a) all his previous playacting and (b) not staying down in the first place.
What goes around comes around – and after the Ferguson statements about the Sainthood of the thug (sorry “Divine”) Rooney the previous saturday, we can all just laugh.
If FIFA and the FA introduced post game video citing of players (like rugby) this whole thing we disappear.

    FAKE PICTURE ALERT!!!!!!!
This pic shows the apparent injury Nani got Yesterday when Carragher flattened him. Ok yeah it was a bad tackle, and yes he was left with a cut. But not this one. THIS IS FAKE!!!!! hahaha!!! If you look properly there is a kind of red tinge to the green grass!!!! This is where the skin has been stretched out in photoshop to make the wound look bigger and not been healed out properly after. Also note how the red tinge is also only inside the white circle!!!! We can see the cut, so why circle it???……..to cover the dodgy areas where it is faked :-) This stuff is easy in photoshop especially with a poor quality pic like this. And just incase that hasn’t convinced everyone…. WHY DOES NANI’S POOR LEG OVERLAP THE SHORTS OF THE PLAYER STANDING BETWEEN HIM AND THE CAMERA!!!!! BECAUSE THAT AREA IS ALSO ENLARGED!!!!! Hahahaha!!! Not meaning to blow my own trumpet but I could have done a much better job lol. So the Man Utd fans that are still crying about that but got bugger all to say about Rafeal’s 2 footed in the air lunge that Lucas luckly jumped or the fact that they were simply outplayed MAN UP AND STOP CRYING!!! YOU GOT DONE……….SIMPLE :-)

Well to be honest i think both carra nd rafael shud have been sent off. The two footed tackle by rafael on lucas was horrible and i was shocked to see dat ref only gave him a yellow card. But after seeing this pic of nani i think carra shud have been sent off. But im damn happy dat we won against our Rivals man utd. Im sorry to say this But this time ull are nt gona win ur 19th title……..YNWA!!!!

to all you man u fans you gang of fucking mutant inbred twats, you are all so vocal about a player that has eclipsed the whore that was ronaldo for taking a dive, he goes down easier than jordan on any bloke that shows interest. Anyway you forget to recall Rooney trying a move from a mma cage on someones head only a few weeks earlier. Yes it was a bad tackle and carra should have walked but glad he didn’t he had rooney, berb in his pocket, not bad for a 32 year old.
Karma is a bitch remember when the big bulgarian took a dive early on against us in the season well we just showed that your luck has run out and you have the weakest team in the last 10 years, rooney and vidic are prob your only world class players, fletcher, carrick shit, scholes, giggs and van der sar too old, nani has plastic shins and the two retard twins must as come as buy one get one free as they are fucking aweful, that little mexican up front is decent but I can see him leaving to go to spain

“HORRIFIC CHALLENGE” “DISGUSTING TACKLE” “HORROR LUNGE”

    Hogwash.

Clumsy tackle, no more no less.

Bad cut, no doubt, but some of these websites are a joke, you’d think he’d gone in with both feet chest high and a knife in his sock.

What a bunch of mindless fuckwits. So a player deserves to nearly get his leg broken just because he goes down easily. You all harp on about Rooney and his forearm, which admittedly he should of walked for, but I can only think that he learnt that trick from that ugly, phlegm talking waste of space that carries your team every season. If maxi had of been pulled for his rake on Rafael, he wouldn’t have gone in on that piss poor Lucas. As for your team, all you bin dippers think that you have a devine right to be top of the league when really you have been an absolute shower of shite ever since Dogleash walked out last time. LFC and all its followers are a bunch of dirty, wretched load of sewer rats. No wonder the ladyboy Torres deserted you. To go from Madrid to the sewer of merseyside, it didn’t take him long to see what all us mancs have known for years. Fucking cesspit.21 years and counting.

Does nani getting up excuse that sad scouse twat from any blame for his ridiculously high assault. Carragher has been getting away with it for far to long. Very, very poor professional. Would put him in the same category as titus bramble.

in response to daz(rhymes with spaz)- have you ever been to manshitter, i mean manchester- do you wonder why ronaldo couldn,t wait to leave, why beckham and heinze fucked off to madrid-its because manchester is a shithole with more bindippers than liverpool- but being a man utd fan you probably live in surrey anyway-we haven,t won the league for 20yrs and you have still only just caught us you muppet-what was the gap from fergies first title to your last title before that? On the carra tackle ,yes he should of been sent off but its about time we got the rub of the green against man utd and thats just coz howard ‘ferguson’ webb wasn,t reffing the game-shrek grannyshagger gets away with murder everyweek because the fa are scared of ferguson ,that elbow in the face was a shithouse trick on a player who wasn,t looking- ynwa

Let’s talk about facts. Its nothing to do with the rub of the green you thick twat. The fact is that the challenge was nearly as high as carraghers voice. The fact is that Gerrard has got away with what Rooney did on more than one occasion. As for the ‘what goes around, comes around’ argument that everyone likes to come out with, I suppose that you wouldn’t mind if one of the Braga players drop kicked Carragher right in his ugly red mush tomorrow. Being despised comes with the territory. I’m sure that you would love to be as hated as united if it meant that you could win the league.
