[VIDEO GOALS] Tottenham 3-3 Arsenal: Gunners Blow 2-Goal Lead In Thrilling Derby

By on April 20, 2011

Arsenal and Tottenham put on a spectacular show at White Hart Lane as the North London Derby ended 3-3. The Gunners lead 3-2 at half time through goals from Walcott, Nasri and Van Persie with Van der Vaart and Huddlestone in reply for Tottenham. Van Persie had a goal disallowed for offside, however replays showed it was the wrong decision. Then with just 20 minutes remaining, Szczesny brought down Lennon in the area, Van der Vaart converting to level things and despite chances at both ends the game ended 3-3. The result leaves Arsenal in third after Chelsea beat birmingham 3-1 (goals here). Watch the action below…

Arsenal did not ‘blow’ a two goal lead as you put it. The implication by the use of this language is that Arsenal threw it away with inept defending. Not the case. They were pegged back by an absolute stunner from Huddlestone and a penalty. A perfectly good goal was denied to Van Persie by the linesman incorrectly flagging for offside. Had that stood the result would probably have been an Arsenal victory.

yes they Blew it all i can say Arsenal are the chokers Manure give them a chance they go an draw here and some examples of arsenchoke
    Man u 1-2 Wolves Arsenal 4-4 Newcastle
    Man U 1- 2 Chelsea Arsenal 0-0 Sunderland
    Man U 1-3 Liverpool Arsenal 2-2 WBA
Man U 0-0 Newcastle Arsenal 1-1 Liverpool and
Arsenal 3-3 Tottenham despite two goal lead
thats 10 Points dropped and the teams we played were totally out of form except fro WBA and Liverpool half those wins would take us a point behind Manure
and All would give us a comfortable 4 point lead over them with them still left to come at the Emirates(which would have made it 7points) and possibly the Title but Arsenchoke are the same and put Chelsea back in the race this has been goin on since Henry Viera and Bergkamp departures
