By on September 20, 2011

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has praised there new signing Park Chu-Young and feels the player can be a great asset for the Gunners this season.

Park signed for Arsenal just before the window closed for a fee in the region of £2m and Wenger feels the South Korean can play anywhere in attack, and this versatility will be of real use in the Gunners system:

“Park is good in every area,” Wenger told Arsenal.com. “He is good in the air, good technically, he is mobile and that’s why he is an adaptable striker who can play up front behind the striker.

“That’s why we went for him. What I like with him is that he is very mobile and that’s the basis of our game.”

Park is expected to feature for the first time in tonights Carling Cup game against Shrewsbury.

Park is a fantastic player any time any day, but what I don’t understand is why wenger is not using him. I hope he will do well today to prove to the world that he is good enough for the epl.

park was not used because he had not trained enough with the team, nd we had players that can play in the areas he could thats why, but after today you’ll see that he will be in the first team
