[Teams] Man City vs Tottenham: Confirmed Line-ups

By  Published: 11th November 2012

Premier League champions Manchester City welcome Tottenham Hotspur to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon looking to close the gap on rivals Manchester United.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s men opened up a five point lead over City with a 3-2 win over Aston Villa yesterday so Roberto Mancini will be looking to cut the deficit to just two points with a win this afternoon. A win for Spurs on the other hand will move the Londoners to within two points of the hosts, so it’s all to play for at the Etihad.

David Silva returns for City after a lengthy spell on the sidelines while AVB has picked Emannuel Adebayor ahead of Jermaine Defoe, despite the strikers hat-trick on Thursday. Here are the confirmed teams for the game.

Man City Team

Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Nastasic, Clichy, Yaya Toure, Barry, Silva, Tevez, Aguero, Kolarov

Subs: Pantilimon, Kolo Toure, Sinclair, Garcia, Dzeko, Razak, Maicon

Tottenham Team

Friedel, Walker, Gallas, Caulker, Vertonghen, Sandro, Huddlestone, Lennon, Bale, Dempsey, Adebayor

Subs: Lloris, Naughton, Dawson, Livermore, Carroll, Sigurdsson, Defoe
