[Video Goals] Tottenham 2-1 Liverpool: Bale Sends Spurs Fifth

Tottenham beat Liverpool 2-1 at White Hart Lane to move fifth in the league and move to within three points of fourth-placed West Brom.

Spurs raced into a 2-0 lead after Bale set up Lennon for the opener before the Welshman doubled the advantage with a deflected free-kick. Liverpool didn’t lay down and were arguably the better side for large periods and got back in the game when a calamitous mix-up on the line between Lennon and Bale saw the England winger’s clearance rebound off Bale and into the net.
