[Teams] Arsenal vs Everton: Confirmed Line-ups

By on April 16, 2013

Arsenal welcome top-four chasing Everton to the Emirates tonight for a clash that will go a long way to determining who qualifies for the Champions League next season.

Arsenal have the chance to cement their position in third with a win but an away victory tonight would move the Toffees level on points with Chelsea and Spurs and put them right in the mix for a top-four finish.

Boss Arsene Wenger has been forced into changing his goalkeeper after Lukasz Fabianski was ruled out with a rib injury, so Wojciech Szczesny comes back in. Per Mertesacker is also recalled with captain Thomas Vermaelen dropping back to the bench while Theo Walcott comes in for Gervinho.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Arsenal Team

Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs, Arteta, Ramsey, Wilshere, Cazorla, Walcott, Giroud

Subs: Mannone, Vermaelen, Monreal, Rosicky, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Gervinho, Podolski

Everton Team

Howard, Baines, Gibson, Jagielka, Mirallas, Distin, Barkley, Pienaar, Coleman, Fellaini, Anichebe

Subs: Mucha, Heitinga, Jelavic, Oviedo, Naismith, Hitzlsperger, Neville

I think will be a very difficult game for Arsenal and if they play to their best i think will win but if not Everton are a very good side and will take advantage so i will go for a 3-1 Arsenal.
