[VIDEO GOALS] Arsenal 0-1 Newcastle: Flappyanski Howler Gifts Newcastle Victory

Arsenal goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski was back to his usual self this afternoon, hesitating for a cross and allowing Newcastle striker Andy Carroll to rise above him and head into an empty net to give the Toon Army a well deserved 0-1 victory at the Emirates. Arsenal never got going and pretty much every player was well below par, including captain Cesc Fabregas who looked a frustrated figure all afternoon. Not even the return of Robin Van Persie could stir the Gunners into action.

After a couple of good performances from Fabianski, all that good work is now out the window as another error has cost the Gunners in a vital game to close the gap at the top. Despite Arsenal being poor, Newcastle never really looked like scoring until Fabianski came and missed the cross just before half time. Carroll did brilliantly to jump so high, but no goalkeeper should be beaten to a high ball like that. Watch the goal below…..

0-1 Carroll

Thats a disrespectful headline. Fabianski was really good today. That goal was nothing but a well taken header. No one to blame. U r a disgrace. Move on screwed head.

Ok mate, the goal wasn’t Flappy’s fault! I would love to live in you’re world for a day, just to see what it was like.

Just incase you missed it, i’m being sarcastic. Of course the goal was the GK fault, he mistimed his jump and got beaten to the ball….mistake, simple.
