[Teams] Preston vs Man Utd: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on February 16, 2015

Manchester United will look to book their place in the quarter finals of the FA Cup when they take on Preston on Monday night.

Louis van Gaal has to make do without Phil Jones after he picked up an injury against Burnley last week so Chris Smalling comes in to the defence with Jonny Evans dropping to the bench as Luke Shaw returns from suspension.

Wayne Rooney continues in a deeper role but Robin van Persie misses out with a knock so Radamel Falcao is supported by Angel Di Maria up front. Daley Blind passes a late fitness test after picking up a head injury last week and he starts in midfield alongside Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Preston

Stuckmann, Clarke, Huntington, Wright, Laird, Humphrey, Welsh, Kilkenny, Gallagher, K. Davies, Garner

Subs: Hudson, Wiseman, Reid, King, Robinson, Brownhill, Ebanks-Blake.

Man Utd

De Gea, Valencia, Smalling, Rojo, Shaw, Blind, Herrera, Rooney, Fellaini, Di Maria, Falcao

Subs: Valdes, Evans, McNair, Januzaj, Mata, Young, Wilson.
