Arsenal Injury Boost As Star Set To Return To Training On Monday

Arsenal have been handed a major injury boost with Jack Wilshere set to return to full training on Monday and is expected to be available to face Monaco next week, according to the Mirror.
Wilshere has been on the sidelines since suffering ankle ligament damage against Manchester United back in late November following a hefty challenge from defender Paddy McNair.
The 23-year-old was close to making a return to action last month and was even named as an unused substitute for our 2-1 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on February 21st.
Jack’s comeback was then derailed as he was ruled out once again after being forced to undergo minor surgery to remove two buttons which were causing him some discomfort in his troublesome ankle.
However, the Mirror claim that Wilshere will resume training tomorrow and while he has an outside chance of being in contention to face West Ham at the Emirates on Saturday, the newspaper suggest that he certain to be available for next week’s Champions League clash.
We head to France next Tuesday needing to overturn our hugely disappointing 3-1 home defeat to Monaco in the last 16, so the return of Wilshere will come as a welcome boost.
Although he may find it difficult to force his way back into Arsene Wenger’s immediate first team plans as Santi Cazorla and Mesut Ozil have been excelling in the middle of the park in recent weeks, while Aaron Ramsey has also just returned to full fitness.
