Manchester United, Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool players have all been nominated for the Player of the Month Award for March, it has been announced this evening.
Arsenal are the form team in the Premier League right now after winning their last six games and the Gunners have two players in the running for the March Player of the Month Award.
Olivier Giroud has been in fine form since returning to full fitness and the striker was a major factor in Arsenal’s impressive run last month after scoring six goals in his six appearances, so it’s no surprise that the Frenchman has been nominated for the POTM.
Francis Coquelin also continued his resurgence since breaking into the Gunners first team as his dogged displays in the middle of the park helped the North Londoners to three clean sheets in their six games last month, and he’s in the running alongside his team-mates Giroud.
Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson is also on the short-list as he was central to the Merseysiders push for the top four in March after scoring vital goals during victories over Manchester City, Burnley and Swansea.
Manchester United’s Marouane Fellaini also makes the cut after he was a key figure in his teams success last month with the Belgian scoring the opening goal during a 3-0 victory over Tottenham while he also played a pivotal role in wins over Newcastle and Liverpool.
Man-of-the-moment Harry Kane is also nominated after continuing his sensational form this season with another five goals last month including a hat-trick against Leicester City, while Aston Villa’s Gabby Agbonlahor rounds-off the six-man shortlist.
Who do you think deserves to win?
