[Tweets & Photos] Arsenal Players Celebrate Online After Beating Liverpool
Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey and Per Mertesacker are among the Arsenal players to celebrate on Twitter after the Gunners beat Liverpool 4-1 at the Emirates.
Arsenal moved up to second in the Premier League table with a 4-1 victory over Liverpool at the Emirates this afternoon.
The Gunners put themselves in complete control of the game thanks to three quick-fire goals before half-time, with Hector Bellerin opening the scoring in the 37th minute with a wonderful left-footed strike.
Mesut Ozil then doubled the hosts lead with a superb free-kick before Alexis Sanchez made it 3-0 on the stroke of half-time with a powerful finish from the edge of the area.
Liverpool pulled one back from the penalty spot but Arsenal wrapped up the win with a stunning late third through in-form striker Olivier Giroud to move Arsene Wenger’s men up to second in the table.
After the game, Mesut Ozil and Per Mertesacker have taken to Twitter to express their delight at the clubs latest victory and shared photos of them posing with Mathieu Flamini and Tomas Rosicky in the Emirates changing room.
Aaron Ramsey, Nacho Monreal and Hector Bellerin have also taken to the social media website to have their say on what was an excellent day for Arsenal.
