van Gaal Makes 2 Changes: Predicted Man Utd Starting XI To Face Everton
Man Utd will be looking to bounce back when they take on Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon. Here’s our predicted United starting line-up.
Manchester United will be looking to bounce back when they take on Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon. Here’s the starting eleven I think Louis van Gaal will go with:
Goalkeeper: No decision for van Gaal to make in goal as David De Gea is certain to start on Sunday.
Defence: Jonny Evans is back in contention after serving his six-game ban for spitting so he could come straight back in alongside Chris Smalling as Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo are still out injured.
Luke Shaw impressed at left-back against Chelsea last week so should keep his place while Antonio Valencia will continue at right-back with Rafael ruled out for the rest of the season with a broken rib.
Midfield: Michael Carrick remains out through injury but Daley Blind could return. The Dutchman faces a late fitness test and will come back in to the holding role if passed fit. Ander Herrera should keep his place in midfield while Marouane Fellaini is also likely to start against his former side this weekend.
Attack: Juan Mata and Ashley Young should also keep his places on the wings which would see Angel Di Maria once again among the substitutes. With Blind back in midfielder, Wayne Rooney will be restored up front with Robin van Persie among the subs as he works his way back to full match fitness.
Here is how I think we’ll see United line-up:

What do you think? What line-up would you like to see start?
