Arsenal and Manchester United both have two players named in the WhoScored Premier League Team of the Week for the final gameweek of the season.
The Gunners put in a sensational opening 45 minutes at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon to blow West Bromwich Albion away with Theo Walcott helping himself to an impressive hat-trick as Arsene Wenger’s men cruised to a 4-1 victory.
It’s no surprise to see the England international named in the TOTW with an overall score of 9.96 making Walcott the highest scoring forward this week. He was joined by Arsenal team-mate Santi Cazorla as the midfielder’s superb all-round display was capped off with two assists which helped him to a score of 8.55.
United were held to a 0-0 draw by Hull City at the KC Stadium but Phil Jones and Antonio Valencia have made their way in to the TOTW with scores of 8.38 and 8.05 respectively.
It’s also nice to see Newcastle United hero Jonas Gutierrez named in the final eleven after his goal helped secure the Geordies safety with a 2-0 win over West Ham at St James’ Park.
Stoke City striker Mame Biram Diouf is also included after his two goals helped Mark Hughes’ men to a thrilling 6-1 victory over Liverpool.
