Theo Walcott [Arsenal]
Theo Walcott has enjoyed an excellent start to the season and the England international continued his superb form in September after scoring in consecutive games against Hull and Chelsea before picking up an assist during the narrow win over Burnley at the weekend which has been enough to see him nominated for the award.
Son Heung-min [Tottenham]
Walcott will be up against north London rival Son Heung-min who continued his excellent start to the new campaign with four goals and one assist to help Spurs climb to second in the Premier League table.
Kevin De Bruyne [Man City]
Kevin De Bruyne is also up for the PotM award after he scored important goals against Manchester United and Bournemouth while he also picked up three assists to ensure Manchester City remain top of the table.
Adam Lallana [Liverpool]
Liverpool have also enjoyed a superb start to the season with Adam Lallana central to the Merseysiders success with the midfielder chipping in with two goals and two assists in September, including a stunning strike during the win over Leicester.
Romelu Lukaku [Everton]
The final nominee is Everton striker Romelu Lukaku who fired the Toffees up the table after scoring a hat-trick against Sunderland, a superb free-kick against Crystal Palace and a goal and assist against Middlesbrough last month.
The Premier League Player of the Month is voted for by the public, a panel of Premier League legends and current club captains with the votes closing at midnight on October 10.
