Not only would a ninth league win in a row keep Tottenham in touch at the top but it would also ensure they finish above their north London rivals for the first time in over 20 years.

Arsenal make the short trip across north London having secured a late 1-0 win over Leicester City in midweek which moved them to within five points of fourth-placed Manchester City with a game in hand.

Therefore, Arsene Wenger knows he needs to take away a positive result from his final visit to the Lane in order to boost their chances of qualifying for the Champions League next season.

Team News

Tottenham will hand a late fitness test to Mousa Dembele after the midfielder was forced off against Palace with a minor ankle injury.

Danny Rose is back in full training but he’s not ready to make his return after recovering from a serious knee injury that’s kept him out since late January.

Michel Vorm is set to return to the squad after recovering from a knee injury but Erik Lamela and Harry Winks won’t play again this season.

Arsenal will make a late call on Laurent Koscielny after the defender sustained a knee problem in midweek but Shkodran Mustafi is still two weeks away from full fitness.

David Ospina could be back in the squad after a back problem but Lucas Perez and Santi Cazorla are still absent.

I think Spurs will edge this one as I just can’t see Arsenal matching their intensity.
