Manchester United star Paul Pogba has offered a positive update on his fitness after posting a number of videos on Instagram of him working out in the gym as he continues his injury recovery.
Pogba has not featured for United over the past month after he was forced off with a hamstring injury during their Champions League win over Basel on September 12.
The midfielder left Old Trafford on crutches and while no official time-frame has been put on his recovery, Jose Mourinho described the injury as ‘long-term’ shortly before the international break.
The United boss did play down the suggestion that Pogba could miss up to 12 weeks and now the 24-year-old has taken to Instagram to provide a positive update on his rehabilitation.
Pogba is currently in Miami continuing his recovery programme and the French international has shared videos of him on a treadmill, working on his upper body strength, testing his hamstrings and cooling off in an ice bath.

It’s still not clear exactly when Pogba will be able to return to training with the rest of the first team squad at Carrington but it looks like he’s well on the road to recovery.
The news will come as a welcome boost to United as Marouane Fellaini picked up a knee ligament injury while away with Belgium while Michael Carrick is also still nursing an injury problem leaving Mourinho with limited options in midfield.
Romelu Lukaku and Phil Jones also picked up knocks during the international break but both players are expected to be passed fit for Saturday’s crunch showdown with Liverpool at Anfield.
