[Photos] Man Utd Handed Triple Injury Boost As Trio Train Ahead Of Spurs Clash
Man Utd have been handed a triple injury boost with Marcus Rashford, Ander Herrera and Eric Bailly all in training ahead of Saturday’s clash with Tottenham.
Manchester United have been handed a triple injury boost with Marcus Rashford, Ander Herrera and Eric Bailly all spotted in training today ahead of Saturday’s clash with Tottenham.
Rashford picked up a minor knee injury during the Champions League win at Benfica but was passed fit to be in the squad against Huddersfield last weekend and came on as a second-half substitute.
The striker then started during United’s League Cup clash with Swansea in midweek but limped off midway through the second half after picking up another knock.
The England international looked in some discomfort throughout the came and appeared to be holding his hamstring as he was replaced in the 67th minute at the Liberty Stadium.
Herrera was also substituted in the second half against Swansea after picking up an ankle problem and the Mirror reported yesterday that he and Rashford were doubts for this weekend’s showdown with Tottenham.
However, United have been handed a boost as both Herrera and Rashford were able to take part in full training today meaning they should be in contention on Saturday afternoon.
Bailly has been working his way back to full fitness in recent weeks after sustaining a groin injury during the last international break but the centre-back is in-line to return to the squad against Spurs this weekend.
