[Video] Transfer Target Spotted Sneaking Out Of Emirates After Arsenal Beat Chelsea

The January transfer window is in full swing so clubs are working hard trying to strengthen their squads for the second half of the season and put deals in place for the summer. Today, Riyad Mahrez was at the Emirates last night….

Riyad Mahrez was spotted sneaking out of the Emirates Stadium following Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup last night.

The Algerian international has been strongly linked with both Arsenal and Chelsea in recent transfer windows after starring during  Leicester City’s title winning campaign in 2015/16.

Mahrez scored 17 goals and provided 10 assists to help fire the Foxes to their stunning title win and was named as the PFA Player of the Year sparking interest from the upper echelons of the Premier League.

So far, a move has failed to materialise due to Leicester’s hefty asking price but Mahrez has made it perfectly clear he wants to leave the King Power stadium to join one of the ‘top 6′.

The 26-year-old has now sparked fresh transfer rumours after being spotted leaving the Emirates last night after watching Arsenal book their place in the Carabao Cup final with a 2-1 comeback win over Chelsea.

Mahrez was caught on camera by ArsenalFanTV sneaking out of the ground in a car while wearing a hoodie and understandably Gunners’ fans are now speculating over whether he was in north London to discuss a move.

Mahrez was seemingly with team mate Islam Slimani – who’s been linked with Chelsea recently – as the striker posted a video on Instagram of him inside the Emirates last night.

The pair could simply have been attending a game of football but with Arsene Wenger seemingly in the market for another attacker and Chelsea looking for a striker, fans are wondering whether there is more to this story than meets the eye.
