Tottenham Team News: Poch Confirms Boost Ahead Of Arsenal Clash + Alderweireld Latest
Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed a fitness boost ahead of Tottenham’s clash with Arsenal while the Spurs boss also offered the latest on Alderweireld
Tottenham Hotspur will look to climb in to the top four with a win when they take on Arsenal at Wembley on Saturday lunchtime.
Mauricio Pochettino has been speaking to the media at his pre-match press conference this afternoon and has provided the latest team and injury news ahead of the game.
The Spurs boss confirmed a boost with the news that January signing Lucas Moura could make his debut for the club this weekend after working on his fitness in training this week.
Moura joined Tottenham from Paris Saint-Germain on deadline day last month and was ineligible to play in the FA Cup replay win over Newport County last night but he could feature against Arsenal on Saturday.
Tottenham now have a fully-fit squad to choose from as Danny Rose and Harry Winks came through the Newport game unscathed last night after recovering from recent injuries.
Toby Alderweireld also made his first start since November 1st yesterday after overcoming a long-term hamstring injury but Pochettino hasn’t decided if he’ll start against the Gunners this weekend.
