[Tweet] Arsenal Star Offers Apology On Twitter For His Part In Brighton Horror-Show

Petr Cech has taken to Twitter to accept responsibility for his part in Arsenal’s disappointing 2-1 defeat to Brighton this afternoon.
Cech was at fault for the opening goal as he flapped at a 6th minute corner and his weak punch fell straight to the feet of Lewis Dunk who fired home to give the hosts the lead.
The 35-year-old should certainly have also done better for the second Brighton goal as Glenn Murray’s header went straight through Cech to put the south coast club 2-0 inside the opening 30 minutes.
We managed to pull one back shortly before half-time through a close-range Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang strike but couldn’t find an equaliser so slumped to our fourth consecutive defeat in all competitions.
Cech has now taken to Twitter to accept responsibility as he says it’s impossible for a side to win away in the Premier League if their goalkeeper gifts the other side two goals as he did today.
If you want to win a game away of home in the best league in the world your GK can’t concede 2 goals like I did today … it’s simply not possible … The team fought back but the damage was done .

It’s good to see an experienced player like Cech come out and accept his part in today’s shambles but let’s be honest our goalkeeper is just one of many problems at Arsenal right now.
Today’s displays proved yet again that the players have lost faith in Arsene Wenger and it’s time for the long-serving Frenchman to step down.
