[Video Goals] AC Milan 0-2 Arsenal: Ramsey On Target As Gunners Take Control

Arsenal have put one foot in the quarter finals of the Europa League after beating AC Milan 2-0 in the first leg at the San Siro this evening.

Arsenal got off to the perfect start as we settled the nerves with an opening goal in the 15th minute as Henrikh Mkhitaryan cut inside and fired home after being found by a superb pass from Mesut Ozil.

We continued to dominate and deservedly doubled our advantage on the stroke of half time as Ozil found Aaron Ramsey with a superb throughball and the midfielder kept his calm to round the keeper and tap in to an empty net for 2-0.

After the break, we opted a safety-first attitude as we looked to preserve our lead and restricted Milan to only a few half-chances while Danny Welbeck almost snatched a third at the other end.

We held on to secure a huge 2-0 win that puts one foot in the quarter finals of the Europa League and eases the pressure on beleaguered manager Arsene Wenger.
