Arsene Wenger has decided to go with David Ospina ahead of Petr Cech in goal while Danny Welbeck is preferred to Henrikh Mkhitaryan in attack.
Laurent Koscielny, Shkodran Mustafi and Nacho Monreal return to the starting eleven after being rested for the 2-1 defeat to Manchester United at the weekend with Calum Chambers, Sead Kolasinac and Kostantinos Mavropanos making way.
Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere also get recalled alongside Granit Xhaka in midfield while Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette come back in to the attack with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ineligible in Europe.
