Liverpool will look to keep the pressure on at the top of the table with a win when they welcome Fulham to Anfield on Sunday lunchtime.

Jurgen Klopp has been speaking to the media at his pre-match press conference this morning and has provided a full team news and injury update ahead of the game including the latest on Jordan Henderson, Naby Keita and Joe Gomez.

The Reds boss was pleased to confirm that Henderson is now fit and available for selection after recovering from a hamstring injury that’s kept him out of the last four matches since suffering the problem during the win over Huddersfield Town last month.

Keita has also sat out the last five matches since picking up a hamstring issue while away with the Guinea squad during the October international break but the midfielder has stepped-up his recovery this week and is in contention to start against Fulham.

Klopp now has an abundance of midfield talent to choose from as only Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain remains on the sidelines through injury so the Liverpool boss has some selection dilemma’s to deal with this weekend.

Gomez was initially named on the bench for Liverpool’s Champions League defeat at Red Star Belgrade in midweek as he’s been nursing an Achilles injury but the defender was introduced at half-time and came through the second half unscathed.

There were reports this week that Liverpool would monitor his fitness ahead of the weekend’s action but Klopp says Gomez is available for selection on Sunday and he’ll talk to Gareth Southgate if there are any issues with the defender or Henderson.

Klopp is quoted as saying by Liverpoolfc.com:

“It’s good to have them back, it’s probably the first time that all midfield players apart from Ox are available,”

“That’s then another thing to do, making decisions, who starts with who, stuff like that. It’s all about then fitness level, form, shape, whatever and then we will see.”

Liverpool head in to the weekend action sitting third in the Premier League table – two points off leaders Man City – after drawing 1-1 at Arsenal last week so Klopp will be desperate to apply some pressure with a win over Fulham ahead of City Manchester derby with United.
