No Need For Balotelli…Arsenal Have Bendtner

arsenal news

Arsenal don’t need to spend 24 million on a player like Mario Balotelli. Why? Well because we already have one in our squad. And I am not joking about this issue…

“If you ask me if I am one of the best strikers in the world, I say yes,” he added.

“It is difficult to compare a footballer’s wage to the wage of a bank manager or the manager of a large company.

“They are without a doubt putting a lot into their jobs and they are important to other people’s lives as well but my line of work is different to that.

“I am in the football business and, on the highest level where Arsenal are, football is first-class entertainment. So it is wrong to compare my salary to the salary of businessmen. Compare it to movie actors instead.”

The striker said: “I am happy to be an Arsenal player but, of course, I must play more.

“I mean that I’m good enough to be in the line-up. I will play this season to the end as an Arsenal player and then make a decision on my status in the summer. If I’m still happy then I will stay. Otherwise, we must see what will happen.”

Now in all honesty, I don’t have a problem if one is a bit arrogant. A bit of arrogance is good, you know, it causes mind-games and we all can laugh once in a while when the guy screws up. But this is a bit too much.

We are in a crucial point of the season, in which squad mentality and morale is crucial to ensure no ‘problems’ arise. Manchester United had to endure a lot of sh*t about the Rooney saga. Which if I may add ended up with Rooney getting wages equal to that of Cesc’s, RVP and twice of Koshers each week! We are 4 points off the top of the table and the only team to be in all 4 competitions (touch-wood) and the guy gives comments like this.

You know you are going to get game-time eventually in matches in the FA Cup and in the premier league, so why have you come out with comments like this ? Are you thick or simply do you have rocks for brains my friend?

Yes, we do know that you don’t get many chances but that is because there are strikers better than you in the squad. Please believe me when I say this. Now in no way am I saying that your a bad player, but quite frankly RVP and Chamakh are better than you. That is why the boss chooses them over you…

Now here are my suggestion to you. In future (I should add near future) when or if you have such thoughts, please go to the boss and ask him for an explanation. He knows a lot, and he can tell you. DON”T SCREW UP THE DRESSING ROOM MORALE because you don’t get to play. Even Vela never got to play a lot, but did he go and give such comments?

Do control yourself in the future Nikko, because what you say may have an impact internally and externally on the club and its manager. If everybody asks for a chance to play, then the job of a manager may just become impossible. You may think you are the best, but if you were in AW’s shoes who would you start with RVP, Chamakh or yourself in the best interest for the club?

Answer this question and you shall understand…well at least I hope you will.

Whats the problem with his comments..? I don’t see how he would upset the dressing room in any way with what he has said. He is simply giving an opinion about his own ability, and frankly if you don’t believe your good enough then you never will be.

He hasn’t said anything negative about any other players in the squad or offended anyone. He is at an age where he needs to play regularly to develop his talent and that’s really all he is saying.

I think articles like this are just making a mountain out of a molehill, people need to get of the anti-Bendtner bandwagon!

so if Cesc comes and says that lets see what will happen in the summer, its alright…there is no problem there??
Now I know u may say that cesc is much more imp to us than Nikko, but the Dane is an important memnber in our squad, and comments like this can actually add another burden to AW prblems…Why can’t he have a pvt chat with AW, why should he say this publicly??
