Chelsea will look to finish the job when they take on Malmo at Stamford Bridge this evening in the second leg of their Europa League last-32 tie.
Maurizio Sarri has rested several key players ahead of Sunday’s Carabao Cup final with Manchester City. Kepa is given a rest so Willy Caballero is given a run out in goal while Andreas Christensen and Emerson Palmeiri come in to the defence.
David Luiz and Marcos Alonso are the men to make way with Cesar Azpilicueta and Antonio Rudiger keeping their places. Ross Barkley comes in to the midfield where he joins N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic with Jorginho given a breather.
Chelsea have also made plenty of changes in attack with Eden Hazard unsurprisingly rested ahead of the City game. Willian is recalled while Olivier Giroud also comes in to lead the line up front with Gonzalo Higuain rested.
Youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi is finally given a chance to impress with the teenage star replacing Pedro in attack. Ruben Loftus-Cheek has to make-do with a place on the bench.
