Chelsea will look to finish the job and book their place in the quarter-finals of the Europa League when they take on Dynamo Kyiv this evening [5.55pm kick-off].
The Blues have one foot in the last-8 after easing to a 3-0 victory in the first leg at Stamford Bridge last week and Maurizio Sarri has taken the opportunity to rest a few key players for this evening’s game.
Cesar Azpilicueta, Marcos Alonso and David Luiz are named on the bench as Davide Zappacosta and Andreas Christensen join Antonio Rudiger and Emerson Palmeiri in the back four.
Kepa keeps his place in goal with Willy Caballero named among the substitutes but Jorginho is given a breather as Ruben Loftus-Cheek comes in to start alongside Mateo Kovacic in midfield. N’Golo Kante starts so Ross Barkley must make-do with a place on the bench.
As expected, Eden Hazard is rested as Callum Hudson-Odoi is given a chance to impress. Gonzalo Higuain misses out through injury so Olivier Giroud leads the line up front while Willian is preferred to Pedro in the Chelsea attack.
Here are the confirmed line-ups:
