Man Utd to seal £60m deal this weekend after agreeing personal terms with key target

Managers are working hard trying to strengthen their squads during the summer transfer window so we’ll bring you all the latest news and gossip from around the globe. Today, Man Utd are set to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka…
Manchester United are expected to wrap-up a £60m deal to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the next 48 hours and have already agreed personal terms with the Crystal Palace full-back, according to reports today.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to overhaul his squad this summer after Man Utd finished sixth in the Premier League and the Norwegian coach needs to strengthen his defence as they conceded 54 goals in their 38 games last season.
A new right-back is on the agenda as Antonio Valencia will leave the club when his contract expires this month, Diogo Dalot is still considered too raw to be a regular while Ashley Young will turn 34 next month so a long-term replacement is needed.
Wan-Bissaka has been widely touted as Solskjaer’s primary target and it looks like United are now closing in on a deal as the Manchester Evening News claims personal terms have now been agreed with the full-back.
To support this report, the Daily Mail are also claiming this evening that Manchester United are expected to wrap-up a £60m deal to sign Wan-Bissaka during formal talks with Crystal Palace chiefs over the next 48 hours.
The newspaper says the meeting has been scheduled by the two clubs to finalise the terms of the transfer and a deal should be in place by the weekend but it remains to be seen whether England Under 21 boss Aidy Bothroyd will release Wan-Bissaka to complete the move during international duty.
Wan-Bissaka is currently away with England at the Under-21 Championships in Italy so the right-back may have to wait until after the tournament before he can finally become a Manchester United player.
So barring any last minute complications, it looks like Wan-Bissaka is set to become United’s second major signing of the summer and I think the 21-year-old will be a superb addition to Solskjaer’s squad.

The defender enjoyed a breakthrough campaign last season after making 39 appearances for Palace having established himself in Roy Hodgson’s starting eleven and he has the ability to be United’s right-back for the next decade.
