Finally Some Good Injury News For Arsenal Ahead Of Barca Clash
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has given the club a huge boost ahead of Tuesday’s decisive second leg against Barcelona by declaring himself fit to play.
There was doubts that the England star would make it after receiving an ankle knock against Sunderland, but it seems he will now take him place in midfield and hopefully give Xavi and Iniesta a footballing lesson as he did a couple of weeks ago at the Emirates. Using the popular social networking site Twitter, Wilshere said:
“Just to let you know i am not injured and if selected will be fit to face Barca! Few kicks but nothing too bad!”
Arsenal could do with some good news on the injury front with RVP, Walcott and Vermaelen all definitely ruled out, and doubts remain over captain Cesc Fabregas and midfielder Alex Song, so to lose Wilshere as well would have been a major blow to the Gunners.
