The Premier League is unarguably the most glamorous and money-spinning Football League in the world.

And over the years, the English top flight has attracted a lot of great talents from different corners of the world.

The United States has had its fair share of players grace the league with varying degrees of success.

Some left an indelible mark on English Football, while others were under the radar for most of their time in England.

Most of the American Soccer greats have moved on from playing to other stuff.

These days if they are not Pundits for Television Networks, they are endorsing various sportsbooks which often involves the promotion of their betting offers and bonuses.

From Clint Dempsey to Christian Pulisic, we take a look at some of the greatest American players in the history of the Premier League.

  1. Clint Dempsey

Clint Dempsey is widely regarded as the best outfield player of all time in the history of the US Men’s National Team. Others think of him as the greatest ever.

However, a coming ground is that he remains an American Soccer icon.

Dempsey blazed the trail for Americans in the Premier League with his skills and knack for scoring goals.

In his time at Craven Cottage with Fulham, he banged in 50 Premier League strikes and also clinched the Fulham Player of the Year Award back-to-back.

The American later moved across London to sign for city rivals Tottenham where he added a further seven goals to his Premier League tally.

  1. Brad Friedel

The American shot-stopper is not only an icon of US Soccer, but he is also a Premier League great. In his time in the Premier League, he turned out for Liverpool, Aston Villa, Tottenham and Blackburn.

Friedel holds the enviable record of 450 appearances in the English top flight across the four clubs he played for in 16 seasons.

He kept the highest number of clean sheets in the 02/03 season and was named in the PFA Team of the Year in the same season.

  1. Tim Howard

Another Goalkeeper, Tim Howard, makes it into our list at number 3. The Everton legend started his career with North Jersey Imperials in New Jersey before moving to Metro Stars.

However, Howard made his name playing at Goodison Park with Everton, but before then, he had served as the first-choice Goalkeeper at Old Trafford before losing his place.

Being one of the most popular Soccer players in America’s history, he was snapped up by online sports betting giants, BetMGM for the promotion of the brand.

BetMGM has established itself as a top betting brand with various betting features and nice bonuses for players.

The partnership between Howard and BetMGM has further cemented BetMGM’s place as a top destination for players who are looking for sports betting bonuses.

Little wonder the BetMGM bonus offer is rated one of the best referral bonuses for existing customers in the United States.

  1. Christian Pulisic

At number four on our list is Christian Pulisic and he holds the exclusive honor of being the only player still playing active Football on our list.

The player fondly referred to as Captain America turns out for Chelsea in the Premier League and has loads of titles with the Blues including the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and the Club World Cup.

While he still has years left in his career, the former Dortmund star has distinguished himself as a true American export in the English game.

  1. Carlos Bocanegra

Arguably one of the most valued defenders in Fulham’s Premier League history and of course another US Soccer great.

He had spells playing in France, Scotland, and Spain, but he made his name in England at Craven Cottage like some other American players.

The former Rennes defender gave six seasons to Fulham and that was the spell he played the best Football of his life.

He played 133 times for the Cottagers in the Premier League before calling time on his stay in England to return to the United States with now moribund Chivas USA.
