Fans can celebrate Manchester City’s historic treble with some limited-edition collectables

The 2022/23 season was certainly one to remember for Manchester City fans all around the world as the stormed their way to an historic treble, winning the FA Cup, Premier League and Champions League.

Players such as Jack Grealish didn’t hold back in his celebrations following the remarkable feat, and now supporters can also mark this incredible achievement by owning some limited-edition collectables.

Club Legacyz, the world’s newest memorabilia and collectables brand, has teamed-up with Manchester City to launch an exclusive series of posters and icons.

City were unstoppable as they overcame the challenge of Arsenal to win their fifth league title in six years. They also beat rivals Manchester United in the FA Cup final before edging past Inter Milan to win their first Champions League and secure the treble.

Reflecting on the historic 2022/23 season, manager Pep Guardiola said it’s vital people don’t forgot what his team have achieved:

“People say I have to win trebles every season. I am a good manager, but no. I like this competition for the fact we won it, it is part of history and players will be remembered for the rest of their lives,” 

“But now give credit for the five Premier Leagues won in six years. It is important now that people don’t forget what we have done. Maybe they can create a museum so the fans can look at the trophies.”

The memorabilia created by Club Legacyz will commemorate the greatest season in City’s 129-year history, including those who played a starring role, such as unstoppable striker Erling Haaland, club captain Ilkay Gundogan and Portuguese star Bernando Silva.

Norwegian hitman Haaland was simply sensational in the first season at Man City, scoring over 50 goals in all competitions to finish as the top scorer in the Premier League and Champions League.

Gundogan enjoyed another superb campaign as he ensured he will go down as a fan favourite at the Etihad Stadium. The German scored some vital goals during the run-in and was a true captain as he secured another three trophies to add to his collection.

The 32-year-old has joined Barcelona on a two-year deal after opting not to sign a new contract with City, preferring to leave the club on a high following seven trophy-laden years in Manchester.

There has been speculation surrounding the future of Silva with reports suggesting he could be tempted by a big money move to the Saudi Arabian league. Therefore this could be the last chance for City fans to get their hands on a collectable that features the duo.

If Silva was to join Gundogan in leaving City this summer, it could make the exclusive collection even more desirable, especially as there is only a limited number of posters and icons being made available for purchase.

The collectables will go on sale from June 28 for a limited period, with just 100 units available for posters and only 50 for icons.
