Arsenal WILL Sell Fabregas This Summer

The Sun has reported that Arsenal have issued a ‘come and get me’ offer to Barcelona for captain Cesc Fabregas.

The fee that Arsenal are apparently offering the Spaniard to Barcelona is surprisingly low, well at least, lower than expected as the fee is apparently just £35 million.

The paper claims that ‘Arsene Wenger is unlikely to stand in the Spaniard’s way after persuading him not to leave last season for his beloved Barcelona. An Arsenal source is convinced this will be Fabregas’ last season at the Emirates despite having four years of his £120,000-a-week contract to run:

“There is a feeling Cesc has gone as far as he can with Arsenal. He has been with us eight years and believes he has shown great loyalty. The team will finish the season empty-handed again and he fears that situation will not change”.The Sun

I would have personally thought that Fabregas would have been able to fetch a higher price then that, especially when you compare to the Fernando Torres deal.

So will this spell a brand new start for Arsenal? And the second most important question is, will Arsenal manage to buy wisely in the transfer window (should they spend at all)? We just have to wait and see!

One hundred percent Wenger’s fault. He wouldn’t be wanting to leave if he was the proud captain of a trophy winning side.No goalkeeper , no defence , no goal scorer…What can the brilliant capitan do on his own?…Enjoy life in Barcelona , Cesc, enjoy playing for your town’s team , and enjoy the kind of refereing that protects your career.

cesc will leave for 30m without exchange players.
SAF would sell cesc for more then 70m but wenger cannot do that. wenger make money by cutting players wages he know nothing about is good that luck is good with him at the moment.

elvi, what are you on about? made money by cutting players wages? we are the 3rd highest payers in the league and make our money off our world class stadium and buying low and selling high. fabregas would easily fetch 35 mil and i would want mascherano in exchange, sack affeley hes not even that good, we need nasri in the middle and a couple of wing forwards if arshavin leaves

The youth policy of Mr Wenger has not worked for six seasons yet he shoves it down our throat because he believes he is making money for the club. Buy for little and sell high just when the players hit maturity.
Has he felt the pulse of the fans? We’re getting really disenchanted

I would love to see a brand new keeper at the club, supposedly; akinfeev, lloris, neuer, reina, or adler. 2 new cb mertesacker and cahill getting rid of koscielny and squillaci. two new creative midfielders, banega and pastore, getting rid of denilson and rosicky, and twi new strikers benzema and huntelaar getting rid of bendtner and maybe chamakh. Then fabregas woudn’t dream of leaving.

there is a limit to how many players one can buy. we do not need a GK. mertesacker can not adjust to the way arsenal play.Kos will come out good.we need a CM badly.
