Chelsea In Shock Move For Arsenal Winger

Arsenal news

Reports are circulating that Russian billionaire and Chelsea owner Roman Abromovich is looking to add fellow countryman Andrey Arshavin to his ranks this summer.

It’s widely documented that Arsene is looking for a complete overhaul this summer and the Russian was expected to re-join Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg if a deal could be agreed.

But the mega rich Chelsea owner is believed to be ready to flash the cash this summer and is a keen admirer of the creative winger, who has chipped in this term with 6 goal and 11 assists. It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will be willing to sell Arshavin to a rival club though. If like me you enjoy gambling, i wouldn’t suggest putting even your bonus free bets on Arshavin being at Stamford Bridge next season!

You all talk out of your arses – Arshavin is still a top drawer player. Wenger made him ordinary by constantly playing him off his best position. The team was always doomed because of the soft centre due to Cesc and his defensive incapabilities

Great player when he can be bothered … which isn’t often. I think we’ll miss the experience he brings to the side and the maturity, but on the balance of things I have to think of the overall return in terms of wages, appearances and productiveness. My conclusion is it doesn’t matter where he goes, whether it be a rival or not – his effort will be the same. If we’re seriously going to win something again, we have to stop carrying players like him and Rosicky and use the money from a sale to replace them. The money for wages would be better of going to a player who appreciates just how much they’re being paid to make an effort, to do a job. Arshavin earns in a week what would take a hard-working Nurse 4 years to earn and what a soldier earns in 3 years. Basically Wenger, if the attitude of a player isn’t right and the effort isn’t 100%, that player CAN’T BE QUALITY.

Arshavin still has chances of shining so sh’d Wenger temper to sell him to Chelsea Arshavin will punish him by scoring him a goal when they play against Arsenal

Arsene wenger should try to offload nicklas bendtner, andrey arshavin and buy high class striker as it is said by one yoruba adage that it is better to have one good presentable cloth than having many unpresentable rags. Arsenal fans must ready to celebrate the joy of trophy next season.

I agree with Sense. Dont blame Arshavin, his past track records speak for himself. Wenger keeps playing players out of position and that’s why they keep struggling. Arshavin is NOT a winger, neither are Bendtner or even walcott. Why does wenger think he can create new positions for of the players? All this led to them not performing well and losing the edge and motivation.

Wenger is only any good at managing kids these days, the reason he signs no experienced players? Because like Arshavin they probably have more ideas than the frenchman does and no decent player is going to stand around and wait for Wenger to sort his youth project out while they watch their shortening careers go down the shitter, all the time knowing that anytime they do anything great he will take all the plaudits!

Wenger past his sell by date, Kroenke needs to stick him in charge of the reservews/youth team.

a quality player performs no matter which position he plays.

if the coach gives you the chance you have to prove yourself wotrthy and not act like a baby because you’re played out of position

a guy like bendtner who’s constantly moaning in the press is poison for the team. get rid of him!

if the price is right sell arsh too, his body language on the pitch speaks volumes and he hardly chases a ball. get a decent left winger.

Players that never were top quality: Ferreira, Bosingwa
Players much slower than they once were: Terry, Essien, Lampard, Malouda, Drogba.
Players that are over-rated: Kalou, Mikel, Zhirkov, Torres.
    Players that are under-rated: Benayoun.
Players that are selfish in possession: Torres, Drogba, Anelka, Malouda.
Players that should still have a long future at Chelsea: Cech, Luiz, Cole, Ivanovic, Ramires.
Players that would inspire Chelsea: Subotic (centre back), Van De Wiel (right wing), Neymar (striker).
-If Torres was signed in place of Neymar, the mistake must be corrected quickly.
-A big summer clear-out will be dangerous, but brave changes are needed.
-What about Ancelotti? A win last year, second this year – it’s not bad.

you gooners are all idiots, arshavin if he did sign for the super chelsea would be joining a far superior club than the has been gooners, face facts gooners can’t see you winning anything for years to come, chelsea, utd,and city will be the power houses of english football for the forseable, you will go the same way as liverfool have done, cmon the mighty chelsea

He is the player we need, he would be a good signing, we need a creative midfielder and he knows he well not win anything at arsenal,

Any chance of a two-way deal involving Drogba? Always provided we could afford his wages.

I would have taken him a couple of years ago when we were meant to buy him, couldnt agree a fee and Arsenal got him on the cheap.

But now, no point. He has admitted he has put on weight and not has quick as he was last year. I do think he is under rated by Arsenal as he can be key (he was quality when he came on against Man utd) but I wouldnt want to shed out double figures for him. £8m maybe but can’t see him in first team at Chelsea
