TRANSFER NEWS: Wenger To Launch £20m Hazard Bid
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has identified Lille’s Eden Hazard as the man to replace Samir Nasri, according to reports.
Nasri is set for a £22million switch to Premiership rivals Manchester City this week with Arsene Wenger already plotting his replacement.
The 20-year old winger had an excellent season in Ligue 1 and was instrumental to the side that won the title. The Belgian international would cost Wenger £20million plus.
The Frenchman is hoping to add some much-needed steel to his defence with the club set to rekindle their interest in Everton’s Phil Jagielka.
Arsenal have already had a £10million bid turned down by the Toffees with the club preparing a second bid for the England centre half. The Gunners have also been linked with Christopher Samba, Gary Cahill and Scott Dann.
