Bologna chief Maurizio Setti has admitted Liverpool want to sign Gaston Ramirez when the transfer window re-opens in January.
The Uruguayan international has caught the eye of some of Europe’s elite this season after some fine displays for the Serie A outfit. The 20-year old is firmly on Kenny Dalglish’ radar.
“We’ll see about Ramirez joining Liverpool”, said Rossoblu vice-president Maurizio Setti.
“There’s certainly a real chance [of it].
“Even if, at the moment, the Reds haven’t called us.”
Ramirez only joined Bologna last summer after he moved from home town club Peñarol.
