Ashley Cole was obvioudly not went for his legs, but STILL it was a reckless challenge mate!!!reckless act doesn’t mean it must be intentional, I don’t know how much sober Cole was but am sure he was unconscious of what he was doing at that very moment, and don’t forget it was at the box so it was clear penalty…please shut the fuck up

I remember Fergie voicing his support for Ryan Shawcross after he broke Ramsey’s leg. It’s a bit different when one of his players is on the receiving end though!

Fergie was right about Ryan Shawcross, am not forgetting the fact that Wenger was always moaning about Scholes and his tackles, he was always talking about the dark side of united players and never took a full credit for their class, so that is Fergies cute answer for that dear FG!!!

But what was Ferguson,s reaction to Roo
ney,s forearm smash to a fellow profess
iuonal player,s face ,last season .Oh it wasn,t that bad, really ,so what will
happen at the theatre of tears when Ro
ooney gets injured again, during a long
hard season as there,s no more money to
buy top quality proven players like Berb
atov,van Nistelrooy etc.?

Fergie wants kings treatment for his players, but his players can be nasty sometime and he is quick to defend them.

Anyone who thinks that tackle didn’t deserve a card or worse is frankly being ABU. Meekson is a foul ABU so no surprise. Cole should have been off. Similar late high tackle last year injured another United player. Cole is way past it and a bit of an ass for complaining. Nothing less than would be expected of someone who plays with Terry week in and week out. Just sayin.

Sir alex is right abt cole,at worst it should av been a pk
United 'till I die!
September 26, 2011 at 9:28 am
Think Dowd got it right when not giving Chicha a PK considering Cole didn’t prevent a goal scoring chance. But for heavens sake, he should’ve been sent off!!! Reckless challenge..
