Denilson’s Twitter Row May Force Early Arsenal Return
Arsenal midfielder Denilson has been embroiled in a Twitter row with Sao Paulo fans that has threatened to cut short his loan spell with the club.
The 23-year-old returned to Brazil in the summer with the hope of first team football and a return to the national teams set-up. However, he immediately got on the wrong side of the Sao Paulo faithful by getting sent off twice in his first three games and now his latest antics have angered the supporters further.
After fans complained about boss Adilson Batista, Denilson claimed they were “very, very annoying” and a Twitter row ensued to such an extent that the supporters are demanding he never plays for the club again, threatening to end his 1-year loan spell early.
This news will not be well received by many Arsenal fans, who were glad to see the back of the Brazilian after he demanded a move from North London claiming he wanted to win trophies, something many found amusing considering Denilson’s unconvincing performances on the pitch.
