Juventus will renew their interest in Chelsea defender Alex with a January move, according to reports.
The Brazilian nearly moved to the Turin club in the summer, but the move never materialised. The Italian giants are now hoping to add fresh blood to their defensive armour when the transfer window re-opens in January and have identified the Brazilian international as their top priority.
Alex has already admitted he dreams of a move to Serie A.
“My agent has been contacted by Juventus, I am 29-years-old and it would be a great opportunity,” Alex said to Sky Sport 24 in August.
“I would love to play in Italy and hope I can realise this dream before I retire.”
The defender’s contract with his current employers is due to expire in the summer of 2013.
