Liverpool are preparing to hijack Chelsea’s move to sign MK Dons teenager Seyi Ojo, according to the Daily Mail.
The 14-year old has been touted as one of England hottest prospects with Chelsea thought to be leading the race to sign the midfielder.
Amid reports of a £2m switch to Chelsea, Liverpool have been quick to move for Ojo who was called into the under 16 England squad this week, despite only being 14 years of age.
Liverpool have already invested heavily in the best young talent and they look like they will continue that policy into January, hoping to outbid the Blues for Ojo.
Director of Football Damien Comolli is looking to the future with the Reds and is happy with the way they conduct business, despite some critics slamming the club for paying millions for a 14-year old.
