Premier League giants Chelsea are believed to be tracking Parma forward Sebastian Giovinco.
The former Juventus youngster has established himself as one of Serie A’s most exciting talents since moving to Parma from Juventus last season.
The 24-year old has scored six in five matches for Parma this season, including a strike during last nights 4-1 defeat to AC Milan and sources from Turin suggest Juve are exploring the prospect of re-signing Giovinco in January, but will face competition from Chelsea.
Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has been following Giovinco’s progress since he was in charge of Porto and is convinced he can handle the hurly-burly nature of the Premier League. The diminutive forward is valued at over £20m and the Blues are prepared to wait until next summer before making their move.
