Liverpool have officially confirmed that they have signed USA’s U-17 captain, Marc Pelosi, after his impressive performances in the U-17 World Cup last summer.
Pelosi, who’s rates the best high school footballer in the country, can play as a central defender and a defensive midfielder, and has played 28 matches for the U-17 side, scoring 8 goals.
He’ll be playing for the reserves and will have to wait till after his 18th birthday (June 17th) to be eligible to play for the first team. Here are a couple of videos of him in action:
