Corluka recently revealed he was ready to leave White Hart Lane this January after becoming frustrated at losing his place to young Kyle Walker this season, and said he wasn’t prepared to stay and fight for his place.
The Croatian full back has made it clear he wants to ensure he makes the squad for the Euro 2012 Championships and feels regular first team football is necessary, something he can’t be guaranteed at Tottenham.
Roma have identified Corluka as a replacement for the injured Nicolas Burdisso, and are preparing a move for the 25-year-old this January.
