Agent Confirms “Tottenham Are In” For Serie A Striker
Tottenham are interested in signing out-of-favour Juventus striker Amauri, according to agent Ernesto Bronzetti, as Harry Redknapp looks to add a new striker
Tottenham are interested in signing out-of-favour Juventus striker Amauri, according to agent Ernesto Bronzetti.
The 31-year-old Italian striker has found himself out in the cold this season in Turin and is looking to secure a January move in order to find first team football. According to Bronzetti, Spurs are interested in taking him to England but will face competition from a number of Serie A clubs.
“His future will be decided in the coming days,”
“We’ll see if he still will play in Italy or England. Tottenham are in as well as two or three Italian teams.”
Tottenham are on the look out for offensive reinforcements this January as manager Harry Redknapp seeks support for on-loan striker Emmanuel Adebayor. Russian Roman Pavlyuchenko is almost certain to move on and it seems Amauri has been identified as a potential replacement, with the Brazilian-born attacker available for as little as £4m due to his contract expiring next summer.
