Arsenal welcome fellow Londoners QPR to the Emirates on Saturday looking to end 2011 on a positive note with a much-needed win.

Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Wolves was an extremely disappointing one and we really missed an opportunity to capitalise on Chelsea and Liverpool’s own home draws. But it wasn’t to be so its vital the Gunners collect all three points this weekend and maintain their push for a top four finish.

Arsene Wenger will be able to call upon the services of Theo Walcott once again after he missed the Wolves game through illness. No other injury news to report on so the squad will be virtually un-changed bar the addition of Theo. With an away game against Fulham to play on Monday, it’s highly likely the boss will rotate the team a little.

With all the injuries at the back, it’s almost impossible for Wenger to change things up in defence but i would like to see Coquelin given a start at right back and give Djourou a rest. I feel Arteta is also due a breather and despite Van Persie gunning for the record, i think the boss will rest him for this one as Fulham away will be a tough game and we might be able to get past QPR at the Emirates without our main goal-scorer. Here is the team i would like to see.

Preferred Arsenal Line-up:

Szczesny

Coquelin      Mertesacker      Koscielny      Vermaelen

Ramsey       Song

Walcott              Benayoun        Chamberlain

Chamakh

This is not a predicted team, but the one i would like to see start the match. In reality, i think Arsene will start Arshavin in place of Chamberlain.

Predicted Score

Arsenal simply can’t afford another slip-up at home tomorrow. We need a win and we’ll get a win. Even without the flying Dutchman, we should have more than enough to overcome QPR. Theo will be up against Traore who he will have trained with a thousand times which will make for an interesting match-up. I’m going for 2-0 to Arsenal.
