Juventus Confirm Interest In Signing Youngster – Report
Today the Daily Mail are reporting that Juventus are favourites ahead of Manchester City to sign Manchester United youngster and contract rebel Paul Pogba.
As we enter the final week of the January transfer window, fans are keeping an eye out for any gossip involving their club. Today the Daily Mail are reporting that Juventus are favourites ahead of Man City to sign Manchester United youngster Paul Pogba.
Pogba is out of contract at the end of the season and has so far been unable to agree new terms with United, with lack of first team chances cited as a key reason behind his reluctance to commit at Old Trafford. Given the fact Pogba is just 18-years-old and has made three Carling Cup appearances this season, it’s difficult to see where his complaint stems from.
However, with just 5 months remaining on his current deal, the Daily Mail are reporting that Juventus officials flew in to Manchester last week to confirm their interest in signing the midfielder, while Manchester City are also claimed to be long-term admirers.
Pogba joined United in 2009 in controversial circumstances, with Le Harve taking United to court over alleged ‘tapping-up’ of the player. Now, after all that hassle it looks like Fergie could lose one of his most promising youngsters.
