Tottenham vs Man Utd: Team News, Likely Line-ups & Predicted Score

Tottenham will be looking to bounce back from last weeks disappointing 5-2 defeat to arch rivals Arsenal as they welcome title-chasing Man Utd to White Hart Lane on Sunday.
Spurs are currently third in the league, seven points adrift of second-placed United and defeat would end any hopes they have of lifting the title this season.
Man Utd come into the game having won five of their last six league games, while Tottenham have only won once in their last four, so the visitors are certainly the form team going into the match.
Team News
Spurs have received a boost ahead of the game after Harry Redknapp revealed that Gareth Bale’s hamstring injury isn’t as bad as first feared, and the winger could be fit to face United this weekend.
Rafael van der Vaart is a doubt after missing Holland’s win over England on Wednesday but Redknapp is hopeful he could take part if he’s able to train on Saturday.
Kyle Walker is another doubt after he also sat out the England game in mid week with an ankle problem. Scott Parker is suspended so Sandro should come in.
Man Utd have been boosted by the return of Wayne Rooney, who returns after two weeks out with a throat infection. Chris Smalling is a major doubt though after picking up a nasty head injury on Wednesday.
Tom Cleverley, Antonio Valencia, Michael Owen and Nemanja Vidic are all out.
Likely Line-ups
Predicted Score
United haven’t lost to Spurs in over ten years and always seem to up their game against the Lillywhites. However, Tottenham have been superb at home this year and are second only to Man City for home form this season.
I can see this being an entertaining draw. Tottenham 1-1 Man Utd
