Liverpool welcome rivals Everton to Anfield on Tuesday night looking to get their season back on track following a disappointing league run.
The two rivals contest the 217th Merseyside derby with the hosts heading into the game on the back of three league defeats on the bounce, while Everton are in buoyant mood following their hard-faught 1-0 win against Tottenham on Saturday.
Liverpool will need a win to keep their slim hopes of a top-four place alive, while a win for the visitors will mean they leapfrog their rivals in the league table.
Team News
Kenny Dalglish is able to recall captain steven Gerrard after he returned to action as a substitute during the 1-0 defeat to Sunderland at the weekend. Right back Glen Johnson should also came back in after recovering from a hamstring strain.
Dalglish is also likely to replace youngster Sebastien Coates with the more experienced Jamie Carragher at the back, while Stewart Downing may come in for Craig Bellamy on the left.
David Moyes is likely to keep faith with Nikica Jelovic up front after the striker scored the winner against Spurs on Saturday. Steven Pienaar should come back in after missing the game against his parent club, with Coleman likely to make way.
Jack Rodwell is also pushing for a start after making a substitute appearance at the weekend, but Moyes is likely to keep changes to a minimum.

Predicted Score
Liverpool are in poor form of late and have struggled to convert their domination at Anfield into goals all season. A stubborn and well organised Everton side will no doubt make things difficult for Kenny Dalglish and his men and we should expect a low-scoring game due to both sides goal-scoring struggles this season. But i think Liverpool will just edge it. Liverpool 1-0 Everton.
If you fancy a flutter on the game, you can back Liverpool at odds of 1.79 over at
Betfair. But my bet is definitely under 2.5 goals, at odds of 1.76.

Reina has had too many matches. He needs to be rested for a couple of games. And I would prefer Coates to Carragher as Agger is still out. Vitory is ours – YNWA.
