Man Utd On Verge Of Sealing £7m Kagawa Deal
Manchester United are on the verge of completing a move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Shinji Kagawa, with the Japan international costing a reported £7m.
Manchester United are on the verge of completing a move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Shinji Kagawa, according to talkSPORT.
The exciting playmaker will enter the final year of his contract this summer but has refused to discuss terms on a new deal. The Japan international has been tipped to join the Red Devils in recent weeks after making it clear he wants to move to England and play in the Premier League.
Quoted by talkSPORT, the German giants president Michael Zorc said:
“Shinji is going to play in England because he has officially rejected our offer of a new contract.”
talkSPORT are reporting that United have agreed to pay £7m for the 23-year-old and Kagawa will put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal at Old Trafford that is expected to earn him around £5m-a-season.
These reports have not been officially confirmed by either Man Utd or Dortmund, this news is just what talkSPORT are reporting at this time, but it does seem the transfer of Kagawa to United is edging closer by the day.
